Kenneth E. Shaw, 80, of Shelbyville, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville.

He was born on October 27, 1936 in Bloomington IN. He was the son Samuel and Bertha (Copas) Shaw and they preceded him in death. He married Agatha Douglas on April 20, 1958 and she preceded him in death on December 19, 2004.

Kenneth is survived by his six children, Helen Allsup husband Rob, Sheila Kemble husband Lloyd, Mary Callahan husband Brian, Sandra Kaster husband Jeff, Lincoln Shaw, and Allison Shaw. Grandchildren Erica DiBella, Kristin Kemble, Brandon Jacobs, April Jacobs, Nolan Kaster, Jenna Kaster, Nickolas Shaw, Jaida Mitchem, Paige Mitchem, Lacey Stroup, Corey Callahan, Kelly Callahan, Thomas Callahan, and Sarah Callahan. Great-Grandchildren Andrew DiBella, Madeline Dibella, Alexis Shaw, and Jenny Patterson, two siblings Jean Drake and Douglas Shaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, and two sisters.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, telling stories and jokes. (very colorful jokes)

He was an electrician from the early 1960’s until he retired in 1999.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services 703 S. Harrison St. Shelbyville IN.

Funeral service will follow at 1:00PM at the funeral home with Pastor Lloyd Kemble officiating.

Burial will be in Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery in Shelby County.

Funeral directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for the Shaw family.

To the Shaw Family: My Sincere Condolences to you all. You are in my heart and Prayers. I have very fond memories of Ken, Gatha, Helen, Sheila, Nick and Allison growing up. They were my extended family. He is at peace. God Bless you thru these next few days. Let him walk with you thru this. He dwill carry you all.
