Kiyoko “Sue” Brown, 82 of Fairland, IN passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Major Hospital Shelbyville IN. She was born on March 30, 1934 in Aomori Japan. She was the daughter of the late Zanoski Mori and Suey Mori.

Kiyoko “Sue” has been with her husband Johnny E. Brown since 1978.

Kiyoko “Sue” is survived by daughters: Peggy (husband Bob) Underwood, Fairland and Sandra Bassett, Shelbyville. son, Anthony J. Bassett, Shelbyville.

Granddaughter; Brianna (husband Brian) Fowler, Fairland and Courtney (husband) Jason) Jeanette, Greenwood, Alyssa Bassett and Christina Bassett both of Manchester. grandson: Kyle (wife Victoria) Bassett, Carolina, great-grandchildren: Jordan Jeanette, Ivy, Julia and Emma Harmon and Izabella Fowler. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Donald Bassett.

She will be remembered as a very hard worker and for her great cooking. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and shopping as her favorite pastime. But most of all her grand babies were her great blessings.

Visitation will be Monday, March 20, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service 703 S. Harrison St. Shelbyville IN.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 11:00 at the funeral home with Reverend Brandon Sutton officiating.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mrs. Brown.

Peggy, Sandy, and Tony, and all the Kids! Aunt Sue will be greatly missed by Me! She always had such an amazing smile! I will never forget the clothes she made me as a young girl, even one out of a feed sack! She could make almost anything! You also mentioned her being a good cook, yes I do remember this Too! Love you Aunt zSue fly high with the Angels! And enjoy your beautiful wings they were well deserved! Love you all! Kathy And Gary Kelley
