Dear Fleming Family,
You don't know me, but I saw Mrs. Fleming's death notice in the Columbus Republic, and upon reading it, realized that I knew her son Dean. I met Dean in high school, many years ago. Reading further, I saw that Dean has passed as well. My sympathy to your family on the loss of your beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Thelma, and my belated sympathy on the loss of your brother, husband, father and grandfather, Dean. Someone fixed me up with Dean when I was a student at Tudor Hall School in Indianapolis back in the late '60's, and we went out a few times. Somewhere I have a picture my mom took when Dean escorted me to a dance. Funny how old memories come back. Am I correct in remembering that Mr. Fleming was an Optometrist in Shelbyville? My husband Mike is an optometrist in Columbus. My deepest sympathy to all the Fleming family. Sharon Drach Mangas
