Stephanie McClure, 64, of Flat Rock, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at the Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Born Dec. 1, 1946, she was the daughter of Denzill and Neila (Bolen) Parks. She had been married to Loren R. Conover. She then married Ray McClure on Oct. 4, 1985, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 2010..

Survivors include daughters, Laura Richardson of Shelbyville and Kathy Jackson of Hope; grandchildren, Christopher Jackson, Ben Jackson, Erica Martin, Raychel Richardson, Ashton Martin and Allyson Baughman; and great-grandchildren, Emma Linton and Adam Martin.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sherman Parks.

Mrs. McClure had been employed as an executive secretary for CRI.

She enjoyed making stained glass.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Burial will be in the Van Pelt Cemetery in Waldron.

Stephanie was a member of our high school class at Southwestern. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I will keep your family in my prayers.
