Larry Raymond Lee, 66, of Shelbyville died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Aug. 4, 1944, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Raymond O. and Reuella (Zike) Lee. He married Pamela Lux on Nov. 23, 1969, and she survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Tonya M. Lee of Shelbyville, Rae A. (husband, Ron) Betton of Indianapolis and Jerri L. (husband, Rex) Davis and Diane R. Lee, both of Greenfield; son, Andrew J. (wife, Erika) Lee of Indianapolis; sister, Ramona A. Lee of Brookfield, Mo.; stepsister Beverly Bier of Brookfield; grandchildren, Case A. Belton, Connor A. Belton and Celeste I. Lee; niece, Tammy Amos; and nephew, Cristopher Cranfill.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Mr. Lee was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in Vietnam.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in October 1991.
Mr. Lee was a member of American Legion Post No. 70 and a social member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was an avid card player and loved being involved with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary, with the Rev. William Horner officiating.
Burial will be in the Heroes of Honor & Glory veterans section of Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens, with full military rites.
