Donald Paul Mays, 73, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at his residence.
Born June 29, 1937, in Shelbyville, he was the son of John W. and Lola Mae (Jeffries) Mays.
Survivors include a son, Terry Mays of New Salisbury; daughters, Christi Samples of Mauckport and Peggy Fulton of Pekin; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a twin sister, Donna Smith; and several brothers.
Mr. Mays had been employed at Old Hickory furniture factory, then retired from Flat Rock Furniture.
No visitation is planned.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
