Clarine Elkins, 80, of Waldron died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Major Hospital.
Born Jan. 13, 1930, in Kentucky, she was the daughter of Levy and Blanche (Denham) Turner. She married Paul E. Elkins on April 24, 1953, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 6, 1990.
Survivors include her daughters, Terri Chappelow and Debbie Caine, both of Shelbyville; brother, Ed Turner of Kentucky; sisters, Ruby Stephens of Greensburg and Dorothy Newton of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Tonya Stohry and Kristi Caine, both of Waldron; and three great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Elkins retired from Heritage Manor, after 12 years of service.
She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Forest Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Ronnie Caine officiating.
