Chyleen K. Amos, 62, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, Aug. 2,2008 at Major Hospital.

Born Aug. 14, 1945, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Raymond O. and Reuella (Zike) Lee.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Amos of Muskegon, MI; son, Cris Cranfill of Indiana; step-daughter, Tammy Casey of Florida; brother, Larry Lee of Shelbyville; sister, Ramona Lee of Brookfield, MO; grandsons, Brady Burnes and Zac Burnes of Muskegon, MI; step-granddaughter, Courtney Buyers of Florida; several nieces and nephews; two great nephews; and one great niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Lee.

Mrs. Amos had been employed at
Subway in Shelbyville for several years.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Dodd officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Baptist Cemetery in Shelby County.

Im so sorry this has happened to such a wonderful lady, they are right when they say he always takes the best first. Chyleen was an AMAZING woman and has touched my heart forever! May god be with the family, My heart and my prayers are with you all!

We were so saddened to hear of Chyleen's passing. We are unable to attend the funeral but did want the family to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them. Chyleen was a treasured patient and friend and will be truly missed.
