Phyllis Ann Endicott, 76, of Flat Rock died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Aug. 8, 1931, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Carey E. and Grace Marie (Reed) Ash. She married J. Tom Endicott on Sept. 14, 1941, and he preceded her in death on March 10, 2007.
Survivors include her daughters, Sheryl (husband, Bradford) Potts of Crystal River, Fla., Cindy (husband, Jack) Demartino and Tina (husband, Tim) Hartgrove, both of Shelbyville; sisters, Ruth (husband, Calvin "Kip") Duvall of Lakeland, Fla., Lorene Pile of Plainfield, Betty (husband, James) Stewart of Fairland, Mary Gilles of Silverdale, Wash., and Janet (husband, Richard) Lee of Shelbyville; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Ash, Paul Ash and Harold Ash; and sister, Theda Kelly.
Mrs. Endicott was a homemaker and had been a sales clerk for L.S. Ayres for several years.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Flat Rock Cemetery in Flat Rock.
