We dearly loved our "Mrs. Flater" She was such a great part of our church for many years. She loved her church and being a part of our music program. She was very faithful until she could no longer drive. Our fondest memories are of her singing " Grannie's Gonna Run" and "God's Been So Good to Me," and her playing Mansion Over the Hilltop for Bro. Williams! We all at Berean Baptist Church, Strafford, MO will see you soon, Mrs. Flater!

Bus,

You probably don't remember me, but we went to Colescott/Pearson school together in the 50's. Your Dad worked with my Dad briefly at Farm Bureau and your Mom made the greatest potato salad in the world. And best of all, I remember you as "Bussie." Sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. BTW, my Dad is with us in OKC and turned 101 last June. I lost my Mom back in 2000 at age 90.

Dear Family of Granny Flater.
Gary and I would like to say how sorry we are in the loss of your mother. We personally will miss her. She would tell us stories when she first started making potato salad. We loved to hear all the stories she had to tell she was a very well knowledged woman. I'm going to miss her so much she always made me laugh, She would tell me how I was blessed with such a good husband. She was so proud of how Gary & I helped her no matter how small the task. I am thankful I have those memories. We loved her as if she was our Granny. Our thoughts and prayers are with each one of you. She was one wonderful lady. Now she is with her family and little boy. May God be with each one of you through this time of loss.
