Mary Frances DePrez, 85, of Shelbyville died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Born April 19, 1923, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Russell and Stella (Drager) Kehl. She married Elmer DePrez, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1975.

Survivors include her sons, Joe DePrez and Larry Dale (wife, Joanie) Theobald, both of Shelbyville; stepson, Edmond DePrez of Greenfield; stepdaughter, Eva Jean Gooding of Shelbyville; sister, Mae Kehl of Shelbyville; sister-in-law, Shearon Kehl; grandchildren, Pam (husband, Brian) Hausman, Robin (wife, Sheila) Theobald, Chanda (husband, Andy) Prichard, Emily DePrez, Brianna DePrez, 13 step- grandchildren; seven great-granchildren; 20 step great-grandchildren; and best friend, Mildred Talbert.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Eugene DePrez and Milton DePrez; stepson, Lloyd DePrez; brothers, Marion Kehl and Edward Kehl; grandson, Wayne Theobald; and her first husband, Warren Theobald.

Mrs. DePrez was formerly employed at Pittsburgh Plate Glass.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and former member of the Eagles and Moose auxiliaries.

Mrs. DePrez enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Seth Thomas officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
