Deborah Ann Guthrie, 58, of Fairland died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital South Campus in Indianapolis.

Born Nov. 13, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of James Reeves and Veachel (Haney) Pond. She married Billy Ray Guthrie on Nov. 16, 1976, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 2007.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Bud Pond, of Dodson Branch, Tenn.; daughters, Veachelle Decker of Shelbyville and Stephanie Stires of Indianapolis; sons, Scott Decker of Shelbyville and Billy Ray Guthrie Jr. of Indianapolis; sisters, Myra Spicers, Pam Reeves, and Donna McCabe; brothers, Benney Reeves, Randy Reeves, Fred Reeves and Jeff Reeves; and grandchildren, Rachel Younger, Megan Wilson, Wendy Wilson, Faith Wilson, Danial Guthrie, Chandler Buchanan and Richard Younger.

She was preceded in death by her father; sons, David Wilson and Daniel Guthrie; and grandson, Aaron Younger.

Mrs. Guthrie was a home health care provider.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Prather officiating.

Burial will be on Saturday in Dodson Branch Cemetery in Cookeville, Tenn.
