Sandra E. "Sandy" Allen, 53, of Shelbyville died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Heritage House Convalescent Center.
  Born June 18, 1955, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Jackie Lambert. She was raised by her grandmother, Emma Warfield.
  Survivors include her mother of Shelbyville; brothers, Marty of Shelbyville and Michael of Indianapolis; and sister, Darlene of Florida.
  She was preceded in death by her grandmother.
  Ms. Allen had been employed with the State Veterinarian's Office in Indianapolis and had appeared in two motion pictures.
  She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1973, where she was a four-year member of the Library Club, Honor Society and Sunshine Club.
  Ms. Allen was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary and the Cincinnati Tall Club.
  She was the Indiana Pacers No. 1 fan.
  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Town & Country Christian Church, 2133 S. Tucker Road.
  Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Revs. Stephen Bohall, Don Bennett and Ian Farnsley officiating.
  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
