Carroll E. White, 90, of Shelbyville died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at Major Hospital.
Born April 12, 1918, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Howard E. and Laura M. (Tucker) White. He married Helen V. Alexander on Oct. 3, 1945, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 22, 2002.
Survivors include his son, Roger White of Shelbyville; and grandchildren, Carol Kelshemeir, Richard White and Shana White, all of Shelbyville; and five great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. White owned and operated White's Watch and Clock Repair Service for several years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. White was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, American Legion, Knights of Columbus and Eagles Lodge No. 766.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with John Kehl officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
