Aldina R. Browning, 81, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital and Health Center, Indianapolis.

Born November 14, 1927 in Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of Thomas and Rebecca (Pettyjohn) Price.

Survivors include her sons; Donald (wife, Ursula) Browning, Greensburg, and Kenneth (wife, Karen) Browning, Shelbyville; daughters; Jo (husband, John) Overly, Donna (husband, Dennis) Kastle, and Betty (husband, Ted) Crouch, all of Shelbyville; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; special friend, Sandy Carew and daughter-in-law, Soon I Browning.

Se married Donald Eugene Browning on Jan. 1, 1952 and he preceded her in death in 1987.

She was also preceded in death by her parents,sons,Hershel Browning and Larry Browning; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Mrs. Browning worked for Excel Corp. for 20 years.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 13, 4-8 pm.at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service.

Funeral service Wednesday, Jan. 14, 10:00 am at the funeral home with Robert Prather officiating

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be amde to Women of the Moose c/o Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Shelbyville, IN 46176.

WOW I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES , I HAVE KNOWN STEVE SINCE HE WAS LITTLE AND I REMEMBER HER COMING OVER AND LAUGHING WITH US. EVEN THOUGH I HAVEN'T SEEN HER IN YEARS SHE WAS ALWAYS GOOD TO ME SHE WILL BE MISSED, SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

I am so sorry about your mother, I did not know she passed, my thoughts and prayers are with you always and I am sorry we have lost touch. Hope to run into you again soon, And god bless your family. I know wherever your mom is she is in a much better place.
