Lucy F. Roberts, 69, of Shelbyville, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at her home.
Born May 1, 1940, in Elton, Tenn., she was the daughter of James Tobe and Dana (Watkins) Hurd. She married Clayborne Roberts on July 5, 1959, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1991.
Survivors include daughters, Pamela J. Moore, Lisa J. (husband, Charlie) Powell and Judy L. (husband, Joe) Scott, all of Shelbyville; and grandchildren, Bryan Moore, Nick Moore, Kaylee Moore, Sara Powell and Emily Greene.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, and a daughter, Trudy Roberts.
Mrs. Roberts had been employed by Elanjay Garment Factory, then by Electrosound, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of Flat Rock Christian Church and a friend of Bill W.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at London Funeral Home, 324 W. Church St., Lewisburg, Tenn., with the Rev. Kim Huffman officiating.
Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg, Tenn.
