Goldie M. Noel Schoaf Miers, 93, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Heritage House Convalescent Center.
Born Nov. 5, 1916, in Milton, Ky., she was the daughter of Jasper Cassity and Gertie Gearries, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Luther (wife, Martha) Noel of Shelbyville; daughters, Evelyn Klakamp and Crystal (husband, John) Beikman, both of Shelbyville; daughters-in-law, Karen Noel and Judy Noel, both of Shelbyville; 28 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
She also was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Noel, Paul Schoaf and William Miers; sons, Jep Noel, Tommy Joe Noel, Paul Noel, Jack Noel and David Noel; son-in-law, Mike Klakamp and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Miers was a homemaker and had worked at Admiral Cabinet Co. and Home Laundry Service.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, 124 W. Broadway St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with Pastor Mark Morningstar officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
