Kent Vaughn, 56, of Shelbyville died Friday, April 17, 2009, at Major Hospital.
Born Aug. 14, 1953, in Lebanon, he was the son of Dallas Eugene and Phyllis B. (Johnson) Vaughn.
Survivors include his mother of Shelbyville; sons, Joel Vaughn of Nebraska and Noah Vaughn of Oklahoma; daughter, Faith Vaughn of Charleston; brothers, Dallas Vaughn of Findlay, Ohio, and Brent Vaughn of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Vaughn was a truck driver for Regal Beloit Transport for several years.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he served as church treasurer.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Private family interment will be in Lebanon.
