Edward M, Feuerstine, 69, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at Morristown Manor in Morristown.
Born Aug. 30, 1947, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Alfred Feuerstine and Ruth (Stevens) Feuerstine.
Edward is survived by three children: Nathaniel Feuerstine and wife, Susie, of Fishers; Jennifer Owens and husband, Maurice, of Huntsville, Alabama; and Adrienne Mahanna and husband, Chris, of Indianapolis; one brother, Jerry Feuerstine and wife, Kim, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one sister, Leona Glessner, of Shelbyville; three adopted children, Sean, Alisia and Christopher, and their children.
Mr. Feuerstine was preceded in death by a his parents and a sister, Jane Roan.
Mr. Feuerstine was a member of Town & Country Christian Church.
Edward retired from Chrysler after over 30 years of service.
He was a skilled artist and enjoyed painting, drawing and woodworking. He also had a love for gardening.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St.
Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ian Farnsley officiating.
Military rites will be preformed by the local veteran organizations.
