Timothy Lee Brown, 54, of Shelbyville, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born July 4, 1956, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Curtis E. and Esther (Anderson) Brown. He married Janet Berry on Aug. 25, 1979, and she survives.

Other survivors include his mother and stepmother, Barbara Brown; sons, Travis (wife, Lynnette) Brown and Jordan Brown, both of Shelbyville; brothers, Thomas L. Brown, his twin, and David M. Brown, both of Indianapolis; sister, Brenda S. Brown of Indianapolis; and grandchildren, Hayley Brown and Carter Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Brown was a lifetime resident of this area and graduated from Shelbyville High School and Blue River Vocational School in 1974.

He had been employed his entire career as a plumber in Shelby County and had owned Clark’s Plumbing since 1988.

Mr. Brown enjoyed watching sports, visiting riverboats and enjoying his grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Harvey Weaver officiating.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
