Jane Wadsworth, 95, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Ashford Place Health Campus.
Born Feb. 10, 1921, in New Stanton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Willard Dillinger and Mary Dillinger.
Jane is survived by her sons, Larry Wadsworth and wife, Edith, of Shelbyville; and Kenneth Wadsworth and wife, Barbara, of Columbus; daughter-in-law, Sharon Wadsworth of Shelbyville; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Ms. Wadsworth was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronald Wadsworth; and daughter, Linda Lou Wadsworth.
Jane enjoyed sewing and belonged to two euchre clubs. She also liked to travel by bus to different areas. Jane had a love for dancing and her favorite dance was the polka.
Ms. Wadsworth retired from Wellman Thermal Systems after 21 years of service.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joseph Smith officiating.
Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
Memorial contributions may be given to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, Cancer Association of Shelby County or the Riley Children’s Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
