Robert Michael Belyea, 60, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away Oct. 19, 2016, at Mountains Edge Hospital in Las Vegas.
He was born Jan. 7, 1956, in Newport, Rhode Island, son of Raymond Belyea and Corinne (O'Kelly) Lee.
Robert is survived by his mother of Flat Rock; brother, Raymond Belyea of Shelbyville; siblings: Cassandra Belyea of Florida; Clarence Lee of Madison; and Corinne Guffey and husband, Randy, of Waldron; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and stepfather, William Lee.
Robert was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was very handy and enjoyed tinkering with mechanical things.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Andy Lee officiating.
Burial will be in the Honor and Glory Veterans Garden at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens and Crematory in Shelbyville, with military rites conducted by local veterans organizations.
Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Belyea.
