  William White, 64, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at his residence in Shelbyville.

 

  Born Jan. 23, 1952, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Manuel H. White and Beulah (Abbott) White. William married Cassie Tate on Saturday, May 26, 2012, and she survives.

 

  William is survived by seven sons: Toby White and wife, Kenya, of Idaho; Jason White and wife, Dana, of Westfield; Nathan White of Indianapolis; Ryan White and wife, Amy, of Shelbyville; and Colin White, Tyler Bowman, Dylan Bowman, Bryan Bowman, all of Shelbyville; sisters, Theresa Russell and Sara Land; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five nieces and nephews.

 

  William was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie White.

 

  He worked at VIP Tooling in Shelbyville for several years before retiring from Ford Motor Company in 2013.

 

  William loved dogs and cats. They always had a special place in his heart. He was blessed with a great sense of humor. Leisure activities included outdoor cooking, bowling and fishing.

 

  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

 

  Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

 

  William was a casual person and this will be a casual service. He would not approve of anyone crying or getting makeup on their good clothes.

 

  Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks, Sheila J. Parks and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. White.

We were fortunate enough to get to know Bill during fun times. So glad he was on my team, just wish we would have had more time with him. He made me laugh. I'm so very sorry Cassie! Hugs.

I'm so sorry for your loss Cassie, as I know what your going through and will continue to go through; but know that I am here for you always if you need a shoulder to cry on or just to reminisce the times you shared with him through good times or bad times. Bill made alot of people smile or laugh, he was a funny guy! He will be missed by many, but will never be forgotten! RIP Bill!
