Maureen P.  Miles, 74, of Shelbyville, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at IU Health Goshen Hospital Goshen IN.

Born  August 20, 1941 in San Diego, CA, She was the daughter of George and Kay McKinney.

She married the love of her life, Jerry O. Miles on June 28, 1963.   He preceded her in death on June 12, 1997.  They lived in Canton, MI until the time of Jerry's death.  Maureen then returned to Shelbyville, IN.

Maureen is also survived by her daughter, Pam (Keith) Miller of Middlebury, IN, son, Jerry Miles,  of TN, granddaughter, Jessica (Adam) Loucks, of Goshen, IN, sister, Jane Spurling, of Shelbyville, IN. brother, Gino (Dee) McKinney, of Yuma, AZ,. and sister-in-law, Mary McKinney of Shelbyville.

Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brother Dennis McKinney,

Mrs. Miles was a homemaker.  She loved to read and work crossword puzzles.

She was a faithful watcher of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.  Her greatest pleasures were times spent with her family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 07, 2016 from  4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville.

Funeral service will be held Friday, April 08, 2016 11:00 AM  at the funeral home with Father Aaron Pfaff officiating.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery Shelbyville IN.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mrs. Miles.

Maureen,

I miss you so very much, but my best friend, you are in a better place.
You are now with Jerry and will never be lonely again. Your funeral was very nice. It seems like the service today brought us even closer. You passed on Robert Alan's BD and closing song played was "Go Rest On That Mountain"by Vince Gill, which as you know was the closing song for Bryan and on his stone. The highlight of your service was a tribute written by Marilyn, edited by Sherry and beautifully read by Nan. A lot of people
attended. See you on the other side. Will always be in my heart. Bob really enjoyed talking to Alfrieda. Love you! Linda & Bob
