Dennis Linn Tackett, 45 of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at his residence in Shelbyville, Indiana.

Born January 2, 1971 in Shelbyville, Indiana, he was the son of the late Ernest Tackett and Marcia Norris Tackett. He married Natalie Willey  and she survives.

Also surviving are his children, Caleb Tackett, Jace Tackett,, Ashlee (Josh) Isley, stepsons, Coty Weaver, jalen Nolley, grandchild, Bentlee Tackett, brothers, Brian (Kelly) Tackett and Darrin Tackett, best friend, Dustin Williams, several nieces and nephews and his best pal ever, his dog "Reece"

He worked as a lawn technican.

Mr. Tackett attended Hope's Point Baptist Church.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, deer hunting, softball, and card playing.

A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 10, 2016  at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service located at 703 S. Harrison Street Shelbyville, Indiana 46176 with Pastor Edwin Mohr officiating.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Shelbyville, IN.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at the funeral home.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Tackett.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kenneth Self Boys Club, 710 S. Miller Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
