Robert David Ebert, 74 of Greenfield, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Richard A. Roudebush VA Center.
Born May 14, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son the late Veva Mitchell. He married Candace Bennett on Oct. 11, 1974 and she survives.
Also surviving are brothers, Charles D (Betty) Mitchell of NJ, Douglas
(Debbie) Mitchell of OH, and Carlton (Karen) Mitchell of OH; sisters, Chardell (Donny) Russell of Indianapolis, IN, Claudette (Blair) Ramaleyof OH and Carolyn (Jeff) Smith of OH.
He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Calvin Mitchell.
Mr. Ebert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He served in the Vietnam War on the USS Enterprise.
He found peace being in the outdoors where he enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday February, 25, 2016 at Rays Crossing Christian Union Church with Reverend Charles R. Mitchell and Pastor Kevin Bennett officiating.
Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Ebert.
