Janet L Treon, 79, of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Morning Breeze Nursing Home in Greensburg, Indiana.
Born July 25, 1936 in Shelbyville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Leland Fair and the late Helen Williams Fair.
She married Myron K. Treon in March 1951 and he preceded her in death March 23, 2009.
Surviving are son, Robert (Brenda)Treon of Greensburg, IN, grandchildren, Kheonno (Doug) Kinder of Straughn, and Pache Moore of Shelbyville, brothers, Paul (Sandy) Fair of Shelbyville, IN and Dale (Elaine) Fair of Shelbyville, IN.; great-grandchildren, Bryan, Russell and Dominic.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Larry Fair, and sister, Joann Heck.
Mrs. Treon loved to collect Angels and Garfield memorabilia. Playing bingo and dancing were some of her favoirte pasttimes.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Shelbyville.
Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Bruce Banister officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Shelbyville, IN.
