Lois Joan Mohr, 91 of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016, at her residence.

Born Thursday, October 23, 1924 in Shelbyville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Bogeman and the late Dessie (Bailey) Bogeman.

She married John W. Mohr on May 5, 1946 and he preceded her in death august 23, 1981.

Surviving are daughters, Susan D Moody of Shelbyville, IN,  Nancy Messer of Shelbyville, Aileen Sullivan, of OH, Janet (Bill) Michell of Ga. and Mary

(Bob) Marsh of MS ,grandchildren, William (Stacey) Mohr, Whiteland, Rose

(Gregg) Cropper, Indianapolis, Genie (Mike) Shelton, Shelbyville, Erin

(David) Daniels, Florida, John (Rebecca) Walburn, Georgia, Jessica (Wes) Gunter, Mississipi, Brett (Cassie) Walburn, Florida, Samantha (Chad) Tadlock, Mississipi, Andy (Sarah) Marsh, Mississipi, Barbara (David) Lipscomb, Mississipi, Jennifer (Brian) May, North Carolina, Bobby Marsh, New York, 19 great grand children and her 2 loyal and loving cats, Bootsie and Sassafrass.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, one sister, and one half-brother.

She had been employed at Connie's Kids and Roberta's.

Mrs. Mohr loved reading and her 2 cats.  Her home was a safe shelter for all to come and be loved.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, Indiana

A public graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 29,

2016 at Forest Hill Cemetery with members of the family officiating the service.

Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Shelby County Cancer Association.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mrs. Mohr.
