Randolph D Baker, 70 of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Kindred Hospital Indianapolis South in Greenwood, Indiana.

Born  May 6, 1945 in LeMars, Iowa, he was the son of the late Robert Baker and the late Constance (Baack) Baker. He married Katherine Lightfeldt on September 27, 1969, and she survives.

Surviving are son, Craig (Angela) Baker of Greenwood, IN; daughter, Carolynn (Craig) Speece of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Cole, Syndey, Max, Mia, and Alex;  brothers, Francis Baker, Tom Baker and Tod Baker; sisters, Sandy Burkhart, Rita Baker, Judy Etheridge, Jamie Duerkson and Roberta Trometer.

Mr. Baker was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam. 

He was a self-employed kitchen designer.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN

Funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home with Robert Prather officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, IN. with military rites conducted by local veterans organizations.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Baker.
