Joseph N. Qurazzo, 71, of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at his residence.
Born Wednesday, July 26, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of the late Nicholas Qurazzo and the late Hattie L Frances (Mastin) Qurazzo.
He married Carolyn Sue (Cordrey) Qurazzo on Nov. 26, 1976 and she preceded him in death on May 12, 2012.
Surviving are son, Kyle Qurazzo of Shelbyville; brothers, David M. Qurazzo of Shelbyville, Stephen A. Qurazzo of Greenwood and Thomas A. Qurazzo of Shelbyville.
Mr. Qurazzo served in the U.S. Army from April 8, 1963 to October 28, 1071, and he served 2 tours in Vietnam.
He was employed at KCL for 25 years, and at Ryobi Die Castings for 4 years.
Mr. Qurazzo was a member of the American Legion Post 70.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison, St., Shelbyville.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, with Reverend Ronnie Caine officiating.
Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens and Crematory, Shelbyville, with military rites conducted by local veteran's organizations.
Funeral directors Greg. Sheila and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Qurazzo.
