Anna M. Dake, 81, of Shelbyville, passed away on Thursday, November 05, 2015, at Indiana Masonic Home, Franklin.

Born Wednesday, September 26, 1934 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of James O. Montgomery and Mary (Mann) Montgomery.

Anna is survived by her sons, Randall (Kathleen) Dake, of Shelbyville, Ronald (Susan) Dake, of Columbus, James (Jerri) Dake, Shelbyville; daughter, Mary Cathy Whitmer, of Clarksville; granddaughters, Jessica Beaty, Whiteland, Andria (Rod) Seaborn, Shelbyville, IN, Jennifer (Larry) Ramey, Morristown; brother, Jack Montgomery, Shelbyville; nine additional Grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by nine family members, including her father, James O Montgomery; mother, Mary (Mann) Montgomery; sisters, Betty Montgomery and Alice Humphrey; brothers, Russell Montgomery, Charles Montgomery, Allen Montgomery and James Montgomery and grandchild, Leon Scott, Jr.

Mrs. Dake was a homemaker.

She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.  She was also a member of Eastern Star, VFW, and American Legion Auxiliary.

She had no enemies.  Mrs. Dake loved dancing.

Visitation will be Monday, November 09, 2015 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville.

Funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Burton officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Murphy-Parks Funeral Service to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Anna M. Dake.
