Brittney DeeAnn Shepard Schrader, 24, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, in Shelby County.

She was born Nov.18, 1990, in Shelbyville.

Brittney is survived by her mother, Lora (Burton) Bruner of Shelbyville; sons, Conner Schrader and Gavin Shoaf, both of Shelbyville; brothers, Brett Shepard, Brandon Bruner and Cory Bruner, all of Shelbyville; grandparents, Ruth and James Elliott of Shelbyville, and Russell and Stella Bruner Sr. of North Vernon; grandmother, Nancy Smith; aunts, Melissa Bruner of Shelbyville and Sharon West of Paragon; and stepfather, Russell Bruner Jr.

Brittney was preceded in death by her biological father, Jimmy Shepard; and grandfather, Kenneth Burton.

She loved to listen to music which gave her freedom from everyday issues. She had a great sense of humor. Brittney was blessed with the ability to write and loved poetry. She will always be remembered for her soft heart.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

A Celebration of Life service will follow at 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Murphy-Parks Funeral Service to help the family with funeral expenses.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Brittney.
