Jessie Rosemary Miller, 89, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born May 24, 1926, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Donald E. Facemire and Pauline (Vest) Facemire. She married Loren L. Miller on May 17, 1947, and he preceded her in death July 7, 1980.
Mrs. Miller is survived by daughter, Beth Case and husband, Dan, of Shelbyville; stepgrandchildren, Brian Case, Andrew Case and David Case; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Ethan Case, Maria Crosley, Kinley Case and Adly Crosley.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Miller; brother, Norman Facemire; and sisters, Kate Clevenger and Janet Schmanski.
Mrs. Miller was a member of First Christian Church of Columbus.
She graduated from Mount Auburn High School in 1944.
She had worked at Cummins, was a homemaker and was involved in investment property.
Jessie was known for her delicious homemade yeast rolls and for always having a full candy dish. Even though she had been homebound for the last few years, she never complained and was a happy person.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating.
