Wanita "Wanda" J. Settles, 70, of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015, in Shelbyville.
Born Dec. 29, 1944, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of the late John Randolph and the late Mary Robinson Randolph. She married Steven Thomas Settles on April 18, 1973, and he preceded her in death June 14, 2011.
Surviving are sons, Scott Alexander of Fairland and Thomas Settles and wife, Judy, of Shelbyville; daughters: Pam Welch and husband, Larry, of Shelbyville; Kim Bullard and husband, Brad, of Shelbyville; Angel Philippi of Oregon; and Stephanie Bowers and husband, Jerry, of Shelbyville; brother, David Randolph of Shelbyville; sisters, Anna Morgan of St Paul, Barbara Hatfield of Georgia, Sue Dennison of Shelbyville, Robbie Riley of Franklin and Shirley Wilson of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny Randolph and Charles Randolph; sister, Rada June Randolph; and granddaughter, Abbigail Philippi.
Mrs. Settles was a lifelong homemaker. She always cherished family outings and gatherings. Yard work brought great comfort to her.
As per her wishes, no visitation or service will be observed.
