Todd Raymond Collins, 51, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
He was born Oct. 27, 1963, to Albert "Dale" Collins and Bev (Fewell) Fisher-Pettis in Shelbyville.
Survivors include his mother of Shelbyville; siblings: Shannon Wilcox and husband, Larry, of Shelbyville; Scott Collins of Indianapolis; Vince Collins and wife, Misty, of Greenfield; Jennifer Weber and companion, Bobby Decker, of Shelbyville; stepfather, Greg "Buck" Pettis; uncle, Chuck and wife, Christin Fewell of Greenfield; aunt, Debbie and husband, Gary Harter of Shelbyville; maternal grandmother, Viola Fewell of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Bernice Collins; maternal grandfather, Raymond Fewell; and brother, Tony Collins. Mr. Collins attended Shelbyville High School.
He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He also had worked at Martin Estates and Shelby Crest. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking, both in the kitchen and on the grill.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Todd Collins Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
