Lucille was a strong guiding light in my life. She and Charlie visited us at every place where Art ministered, from Kentucky to Ohio, to Virginia, and Lucille even came to Delaware with Becky and Erin. She will be greatly missed. I am so glad I was able to see her for a few minutes in August. May God comfort the entire family and they honor Lucille for her wonderful example to all of us.

As my sister has stated, Lucille and Charlie were such a positive influence on our family as my sisters and I were growing up. Even when we were at Johnson Bible College, they would come to visit us and encourage us. Generations of young people have grown closer to the Lord just by knowing them. God bless your family.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Lucille's passing. She was my Sunday School teacher, and CYF leader as I grew up in Flat Rock. She had a special gift of making people feel important, and I believe this served her well as she ministered to myself and numerous number others throughout the years. I will always be grateful to her for helping to shape my life. It is comforting to know that she is now in the presence of Almighty God. My deepest sympathy to all of the Swinford family.

I was saddened to hear of Lucille's passing. She was a good friend to our family.
She was especially good to Mother before she died. She visited her in the hospital and nursing home. She was a good Christian woman. It meant a lot to Mom, and our family.
Bonny and I were in the same class all through school. She came to the funeral home, when Mom and Dad passed away. I'm sorry I couldn't come up for Lucille's viewing or funeral. Health issues and distance made it impossible.
