David Michael "Dave" Delaney, 27, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, at his residence.

He was born March 5, 1987, to Thomas H. Delaney and Della (Brady) Delaney in Merrillville.

Survivors include his mother of Martinsville; companion, Britney Carpenter of Shelbyville; daughter, Autumn Delaney; sons, Xander Barnes and Bentley Carpenter; sister, Olivia Pinegar and husband, Robert, of Shelbyville; nieces and nephews, Robin Gibson and Colton, Ethan, Brenden, Shealynn and Benjamin Pinegar; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Destiney Delaney; and niece, Lillian Pinegar.

Mr. Delaney was a father and uncle above all.  Dave was a hard worker, juggling multiple jobs.  He was employed at Saran Industries and Wendy's.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and playing video games.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S Harrison St.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Nathan Janssen officiating.

Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks, Sheila J. Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Delaney.

David was a great guy, a great friend and coworker. He walked in so many years ago and said I'll be your best worker. I took a chance and he was. I pray your with the Angels looking down on your children. We loved ya David!! RIP. .... Wendys crew
