Ann C. Poole, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 6, 1937, to Louis E. Hudson and Alta (Cowen) Hudson in Shelbyville. She married James Poole on April 1, 1969, and he preceded her in death June 22, 2004.
Survivors include two daughters, Jamie Poole and Melanie Pryor, both of Shelbyville; daughter-in-law, Deb Spurlin; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Elnora Deaton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sons, Paul Spurlin, David Spurlin and Eddie Spurlin; two sisters; and two brothers.
Ann retired from GenCorp in 1996.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary No. 1541 in Rushville.
Ann enjoyed her grandchildren's activities and reading.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donna Trumpey officiating.
Burial will be at Orange Cemetery in Fayette County.
