The Capule Family
   Posted Wed September 24, 2014
We would like to express our sincere condolences on the passing of husband, father, grandfather, uncle - Mr. William Shaner.

My older brother Allen was best friends with Scott growing up and my brother and I would often bike from our house in Country Club Heights to hang-out at the Shaner farm. What anticipation we always had knowing that we were going to have some fun outdoors!

My memories of Mr. Shaner are that of a proud farmer who was given the Blessing of working God's land, a hard-working, loving family man, a quiet, kind-hearted soul. I remember he helped pull my dad's car out of a snow bank. He also would take us along with these huge tractor tire inner tubes to the golf course for tubing on the snow. I will remember his bright smile with very rosy-red cheeks during the cold weather.

We pray for the surviving family members at this difficult time. May you be comforted with your own memories along with those of friends and family reaffirming what you already know, that Mr. Shaner was a good man of God always offering a helping hand to anyone in need. Thank-you Shaner family for having a positive influence in our time in Shelbyville.

Love & Prayers,

-randy (for the entire Capule Family- Art, Fe, Allen, Randy, Rochelle)
