Darrell L. Witt, 53 of Brooksville passed away May 20, 2014 at HPH Hospice. He was born in Connersville, Indiana and came here in 2002 from Indiana.
He was owner, and operator of Coastal Manufacturing & Fabrication in Brooksville. Darrell enjoyed watching his favorite football team; Indianapolis Colts, and his hobbies consisted of RVing, camping, Harley motorcycles, country music, and cruises. He was a great provider for his home, and he loved his kids.
He is predeceased by his brothers, Greg and Dana Witt.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Roxanne Witt of Brooksville; 2 sons, Daniel Lynn Witt and his girlfriend Kelly of Brooksville, and Schuyler Hill of Brooksville; 2 daughters, Heather Cochrane and her husband Billy of Spring Hill, and Taylor Witt of Brooksville; parents, Tony and Martha Witt of Homosassa; brother, Tony Michael Witt and his wife Donna of Indiana; grandchildren, Mackenzie Cochrane, Caleb Cochrane, and Ezra Witt; nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Brooksville Chapel of Brewer & Sons Funeral Homes. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Homosassa Florida.

Visitation will be 10AM Tuesday May 27, 2014  followed by funeral services at 11AM at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service in Shelbyville, IN.  Reverend Edwin Mohr will be officating the services.  Burial will be at Fairland Cemeterry.
Flowers are welcome, or donations can be made to HPH Hospice in care of Murphy-Parks Funeral Service.

My heartfelt condolences to all the Witt family, love ya all from Springfield, MO. Darrell and I grew up together, attended the same church, and generally got in trouble together. Many happy memories though. So sad so young. I'll be seeing him soon I'm afraid. Not in the best health myself. May God grant you peace in the following trying days ahead, much love. Rick

Daniel, I'm sure you don't remember me, but I took care of you in the before and after school program at Triton and for one summer. I'm very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. My thoughts are with you and your family.
