Robin Hodgins-Nigh
Robin Hodgins-Nigh, 48, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014.
She was born July 26, 1965, to Charles Hodgins and Ruth (Elliot) Wilder in Shelbyville.
Survivors include her mother; sons, Brandon McCorkle and Derrick Nigh; Step Children: Cierra, Josh, and Zach Short siblings: Danny Hodgins; Sue Hodgins; Buck Hodgins; Joyce Knight and husband, Kenny; Libby Williams and husband, Everett; Patti Hodgins; Winnie Good and husband, Bill; Matt Wilder; and Karen Corley and husband, Terry; stepsiblings: Clara Thomas; Becky Griffith; Charles Wilder, all of Shelbyville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hodgins; stepfather, Charles Wilder; brother; and nephew, Brian Hodgins.
Robin was a collector of salt and pepper shakers.
She worked at Old Hickory Furniture Co. until her illness began.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2014, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Seth Taylor officiating.
Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Robin Hodgins-Nigh Burial Fund in care of the funeral home.
Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks, Sheila J. Parks and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Ms. Hodgins-Nigh.

The loss of a relative is always a difficult time for a family. It is particularly painful when it is unexpected and sudden. I am thinking of my only nephew and I hope that his pain will subside with the healing passage of time. I can't imagine what he is going through, but I am sending him all the love I have.
