My condolences to the Smothers family. 58 years is a long time to be with the one you love and God know your pain and care. May it help you to know that many who have died will be resurrected. Jesus promised that "those in the memorial tombs will... come out." (John 5:28-29) In harmony with God's original purpose, those resurrected will have the opportunity to live on a paradise earth. This promised future includes perfect health and everlasting life for obedient humans. I hope the hope of seeing your loved one again, to come back and live forever in perfect health, bring you and your family some comfort
