Lori S. Beals

 

Lori Sue Beals, 53, of Fairland, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at her residence.

She was born April 23, 1960, to Avery Smith and Mary (Butler) Smith. She married John R. Beals Sr. on May 17, 1991, and he survives in Fairland.

Other survivors include her mother; son, John R. Beals Jr. of Fairland; sister, Nancy Murry of Fishers; and two brothers, Greg Smith and Avery "Bud" Smith, both of Shelbyville.

She was preceded in death by her father.
 

 
Mrs. Beals was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and doing crafts. She also enjoyed cooking for her family.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at the funeral home with Robert Prather officiating.

Burial will be at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens in Shelbyville.

Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks and Sheila J. Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mrs. Beals.

I just heard about Lori's death. My mom and dad were good friends with Mary and Avery and their daughter, Nancy, was my first friend. Sad to hear and my thoughts are with the family.
