Marion L. "Butch" Morgan, 71, of Franklin, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
He was born June 1, 1942, to Levi Morgan and Tiney (Davis) Morgan in Duggar, Indiana.
Survivors include: cousins, Janice Lane, of Edinburgh, and Carla Baber, of Indianapolis; and nieces, Karen Macke, of Carthage, Indiana, and Tonya Perchinee, of Shelbyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Charlotte Krischner.
Mr. Morgan volunteered for Gleaner's Food Bank and the American Heart Association and was a Salvation Army bell ringer.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 South Harrison St., Shelbyville.
Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory.
Burial will take place in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
