Ruth E. Feller, 85, of Shelbyville, passed away, Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Waldron Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born July 24, 1927, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Braden Harold Oltman Sr. and Fern Ruth (Phares) Oltman Sr. She married Louis Martin Feller Sr. in 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1987.

Surviving Ruth are her devoted children, including sons, Marty and Roger (wife, Mary) Feller and daughter, Robin (husband, Greg) Knight, all of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Laura and Rodney Feller, Jeremy Lee, Ryan and Megan Knight; and eight great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Harold Oltman and Braden Harold Oltman Jr.; sister, Betty Jane Oakley; son, Randy Feller; and granddaughter, Jessica Feller.

Mrs. Feller was a lifelong Shelbyville resident. Before retiring, Ruth was a factory worker at KCL in Shelbyville.

She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting casinos. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2013, at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ruth E. Feller Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
