Harl Edward Knose, 70, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013, in Brookville.

He was born April 20, 1943, to Ira Knose and Mary (Lee) Knose in Shelbyville.

Survivors include his father of Shelbyville; his wife, Rhonda, of Shelbyville; brother, Gary Knose of Shelbyville; daughter, Lori (husband, Carey) Ball of Brookville; son, Scott (wife, Gail) Knose of Cadiz, Ky.; stepson, Matt Sosbe of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Knose was a U.S. Army veteran.

Harl had a great sense of humor. He loved country music and fishing was his favorite pastime. He was blessed with the ability to craft beautiful things with his hands.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Blue Ridge Christian Union Church, 466 S. 775E, Shelbyville.

Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Brandon Sutton officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Harl Knose Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
