Ariana Mae Harms, 91, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 10, 1921, to Joseph Eckstein and Florence (Copeland) Eckstein in Shelbyville. She married Robert D. Harms Oct. 18, 1942, and he preceded her in death Jan. 25, 2011.
Survivors include three children, Robert "Mike" (wife, Mary) Harms of Shelbyville, Sandy (husband, Ed) Roehling of Unionville and Ginny (husband, Doug) Powers of Shelbyville; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Jay Harms and Gary Harms.
Mrs. Harms was a homemaker. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville.
Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at London Cemetery in Fairland.
