Dear Rod, your siblings, and the rest of Charlie's Loved Ones;
We were all saddened to learn of your Dad's death yesterday. I was helping Mom and Dad with lunch when Amy Brammer came and told us. We will watch for funeral arrangements because Dad wants to come if at all possible. Dad has improved enough that it will likely be possible. Depending on the timing Beth (daughter) and Vanessa (granddaughter) would like to come also.
Dad said several times today how he couldn't believe that Terry and Charlie are both gone and all since he moved over to health care seven weeks ago. It is weird to walk past the dining room and see their table completely empty after all the time they sat there together.
Our prayers and condolences to all of you. Your Dad is once again with his beloved Lillian and that shoulder is no longer painful.
Love,
The Dewey Lockwood Family

Dear Rod, Pat, and Judy,
I couldn't believe Uncle Toad had passed into the hands of Jesus, when mom called with the saddening news. Her heart was broke, as was mine. She loved her brother, as well as she did Lillian, because, she knew his beloved Lillian, made him the happiest man in this world. I loved to go visit with them as often as I could. From the time I was a kid at their house on McKay to ManorCare at Summertrace in Carmel. I loved them so much, and they showed so much love back to me. I knew I was always welcome, where ever they lived. I have so very, very many fond memories of Uncle Toad..., he was such a character!! Also, a very smart, hard working man, with a heart of gold, and always put Aunt Lillian on a pedestal, which she truly deserved. I'm thankful for God giving me these two for my Uncle, and Aunt. I will always have so many wonderful, and fond memories to share, and keep with me always, of my Uncle Toad, and Aunt Lil. Thank you for letting me enjoy them along with you as their children all of these years. I would have done anything for them, and as I would do for all of you, Rod, Pat, & Judy. Our family's heart felt prayers, and sympathy will always be with you.
Love, and Peace be with you,
Aunt Marlene, Lorie, Jan, Josh & Lisa
