Charlotte Ann Shrader, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Heritage House Convalescent Center.
She was born Sept. 12, 1935, to Romus Hatton and Mattie (Elkins) Hatton in Shelby County.
Survivors include two sons, Gary (wife, Amy) Shrader and Ricky Shrader, all of Shelbyville; grandson, Blayke Shrader; and stepgrandson, Nik Rice.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Miss Shrader was employed by Indiana Bell as a telephone operator. She had also worked for The Shelbyville News for several years until she retired. She was an avid reader.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Gates officiating.
Burial will be at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Norritown.
Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks, Sheila J. Parks and Stuart H. Parks are honored to conduct the services for Miss Shrader.

May Charlotte rest in peace... Boy, she sure was fun to talk to, she knew everybody!! Loved her photo/scrap albums, full of shelby county history.... She will be missed, prayers to your family...
