Linda E. Boles, 72, of Shelbyville, passed away November 21, 2012 at her residence.
She was born Jan. 24, 1940 to Henry T. McKay and Margaret Jane (Robertson) McKay.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Donald (Penny) Jones of Shelbyville; sons, Perry (wife, Andrea) Boles of Rushville, Phillip E. Boles, Scotty L. (wife, Kelly) Boles both of Shelbyville, and Russell A. (wife, Sheryl Burdine) Boles of St. Paul; step-daughter, Mrs. Norman (Diana L.) Jones of Fairland; sister, Letha Hall of Rushville; Sisters-in-law, Barbara Walton of Shelby County and Fran McKay of Chicago, IL; friend and neighbor, Jodie Miller of Shelbyville; 25 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, infant son, Gerald Boles, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mrs. Boles attended Shelbyville HIgh School. She married Perry "Junior" Boles on November 2, 1958 and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2001.
She was employed with Overhead Door Corp. in Shelbyville for 19 years as an assembly line worker before retiring. She was a lifelong Shelby County resident.
She enjoyed worshipping at home and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 26 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Robert Burgbacher officiating.
Buiral will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
